Your post caught my eye since I'm a former Missouri girl myself. Congrats on your feature!
Funny that I found your article at this time. I am moving my family down there, away from the snows of Mnnesota. Glad to hear some positivie things.

That sure is great news for anyone currently living in your community or contemplating one. Even for real estate agents around the country, who may have no immediate need for this information, you never know when we might have a referral to your area.
Debbie,
It looks like you have three schools to be very proud of ma'am. BTW, congrats on the gold star.
Debbie, That must be a difficult list to get on and your area has not one but three! Congratulations, they are doing something right.
Debbie - awesome localism post here. And as a native of Missouri it's good to know this info!
That must mean that underpaid and overworked teachers are doing an excellent job.
Ronelle- Thanks for stopping by. Glad to hear from a former Missouri girl! I consider myself a MO girl even though I'm from Illinois
Todd - Come on down! Have to say, I don't miss the Chicago snows. This season, we have yet to have snow stick on the ground! This past Saturday, it was 71* here
Margaret - Thank you! You bring up a great point - another Realtor may find this helpful in guiding a client to our area.
Don - I'm very excited for all these kids. My own kids attend school in Conway so I'm very proud.
Carole - Thank you! All three of these schools are very rural - Conway MO shows a population of 200 people in the city limits! It's amazing to me how they can do so much with such limited funds... My son came home today telling me he was using Microsoft Publisher in class today - he's in the 3rd grade! Hard to believe what they learn!
Kris- We've switched places my friend! One of the reasons I left the Chicago land area - the huge class sizes. Since then, I've noticed all kinds of new schools being built in your area.
Russel - The sad part - you're right on the money. Teachers are not paid very much, compared to many other professions and given the fact that they are with my children more in a day than I am. On a school night with baths, dinner and the such, my time is limited.
Great news for Fordland......since I have a home listed there. I believe smaller towns are now focused on the kids more than the larger schools. Great post! Congratulations on being featured.
Thats great news!
